Vacation rentals in Mont-Tremblant

Tremblant is Eastern Canada best-known mountain resort: a colourful pedestrian village at the base, 100-plus ski runs above it, and a rental market built around chalets and slope-side condos. Summer swaps skis for lakes, hiking, and mountain biking.

Best time to book

Late December to mid-March for reliable snow; late June to early October for lakes, hiking, and the cheapest chalet weeks outside ski season.

Common rental types

Ski-in ski-out condos · Log chalets · Lakefront cottages · Village apartments · Large group chalets with hot tubs

Getting there

Most visitors fly into Montreal Trudeau (YUL) and drive about 90 minutes north on Autoroute 15 and Route 117. A seasonal shuttle runs from the airport, and Mont-Tremblant International (YTM) has limited winter flights. A car is genuinely useful here, especially for lakeside and off-mountain rentals.

Where to stay in Mont-Tremblant

Pedestrian Village (Village Piétonnier)

Car-free cobbled lanes, restaurants, and ski shops at the gondola base. Condo rentals here mean you can walk to the lifts in boots.

Ski-in ski-out slopeside

Condos and townhouses on the mountain itself, some with private lift access. The premium option for serious ski families.

Versant Soleil (South Side)

Quieter mountain side with newer condos, good sun, and shorter lift lines. Requires a short shuttle or drive to the main village.

Lac Tremblant shoreline

Waterfront chalets with docks and beach access, a few minutes from the village. Best value in summer and ideal for families with boats or paddleboards.

Vieux Village (Old Village)

The original lakeside town on Lac Mercier, with cafés, a beach, and cheaper chalets. Calmer evenings and local prices.

Saint-Jovite (downtown Mont-Tremblant)

The everyday town centre with supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants. Rentals cost noticeably less; you drive 10 to 15 minutes to the hill.

Le Maître & golf side

Upscale homes and condos around the golf courses and the Diable river. Quiet, spacious, and popular with couples and multi-generation groups.

Lac Supérieur & surrounding lakes

Secluded log chalets in the forest, 15 to 25 minutes out, with the strongest privacy and the largest hot-tub group houses.
